Anundoram Borooah Institute of Language, Art and Culture, Assam is going to publish its 15th volume of Anandam Journal of Anundoram Borooah Institute of Language, Art and Culture, Assam a UGC CARE Listed, Peer Reviewed Research Journal and calls Research Papers containing the original works of the author for this issue on the topics falling under and related to the following focus areas to be released in 21st May, 2026.

Important Dates:

Last date of submission of paper: 20th February, 2026.

Letters of receipt will be issued to the respective authors through email by 1st March, 2026.

Papers which will need minor revisions or modifications suggested by the external reviewer will be sent to the authors for necessary correction by 15th March, 2026

Last date of submission of the corrected papers is 31st March, 2026

Registration fees: The contributors are requested to deposit Rs.500.00 (Five hundred) only along with their papers in the following Bank details.

Guide lines

Papers sent for publication should maintain the following norms

(1) The paper should be within 5000 words in English

(2) It should be typed in Times New Roman 12 point font with double space with 3 cm margin on all sides in A4 size.

(3) The photographs or drawings should in jpg format with captions.

(4) The end notes and the references should be in APA style.

(5) The soft copy should in MS word and send along with a PDF file.

(6) An abstract and key words of the paper not exceeding 150 words should be placed at the beginning followed by the paper.

(7) The paper should include a bio note of the author in 150 words at the end.

Plagiarism Check: The contributors are requested to check plagiarism through recognized software on the basis of the principles and guidelines set by UGC and other academic bodies. The plagiarism checked certificate must be submitted along with the research papers.

Asomiya Omala Geet is a collection of Assamese play songs and nursery rhymes collected and edited by Professor Dipti Phukon Patgiri and published by ABILAC in the year 2020. This book consists of a good number of play songs and nursery rhymes collected during a field study by the compilers. Most of these play songs and rhymes are collected from undivided Darrang, Undivided Kamrup and Undivided Goalpara districts of Assam along wih the ones available in standard Assamese language. In its preface the complier Prof. Phukon Patgiri has presented a brief and valuable discussion on the definition, nature and value of such play songs which are gradually disappearing due to various obvious reasons. She has stressed on the preservation of such relics and cosiders this compilation is an important step towards that. This book consists of 112 pages.
