The Hill Lalungs

The Hill Lalungs is a monograph on the Hill Lalung community in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam. This book can be considered as an exquisite exploration into the history and life of the Hill Lalungs. Each of the eight chapters, in the book, provides valuable insight into various aspects of the community viz. their origin and history, domestic and economic life, social life, religious life, language, literature and folklore, political life etc. It also includes a chapter on the Lalungs (Tiwas) of the plains.
