Description

This is the second of the six volume history of Assamese Literature produced by ABILAC. This second volume has been edited by Dr. Sivanath Barman. This book comprises of nine chapters on the various stages of the development in the history of Assamese Literature from1470 to 1630. The contributors of this volume are Anima Dutta, Indira Saikia Bora, Karabi Deka Hazarika, Keshoda Mahanta, Gobinda Das, Joyjyoti Goswami, Tafazzul Ali, Diptiphukan Patgiri, Nalinidhar Bhattacharya, Nabin Ch. Sarma, Narayan Das, Paramananda Rajbongshi, Parikshit Hazarika, Pronoti Sarma Goswami, Pradip Khataniar, Pradipjyoti Mahanta, Prafulla Mahanta, Prabin Ch. Das, Bapchandra Mahanta, Bibha Bharali, Birendra Kumar Gohain, Baikuntha Rajbongshi, Bhupen Raychoudhury, Malini Goswami, Medini Choudhury, Jogendranarayan Bhuyan, Liladhar Hazarika, Lilavati Saikia, Sivanath Barman, Satishchandra Bhattacharya and Harichandra Bhattacharya. Apart from these chapters, the book also contains a detailed introductory chapter by the Late Navakanta Barua who was the ex officio General Editor and the Chairman of the EC of ABILAC along with an introductory section by the editor Dr. Sivanath Barman.
