The Director of Anundoram Borooah Institute of Language, Art and Culture (ABILAC), Prof. Sudeshna Bhattacharjya, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, today along with her colleague. During the courtesy meeting, Prof. Bhattacharjya apprised the Hon’ble Governor about the various ongoing and proposed academic, research, and cultural projects being undertaken by ABILAC. She particularly discussed the forthcoming prestigious Anundoram Borooah Award Ceremony, scheduled to be held in March 2026, highlighting its significance and the Institute’s vision behind organizing the event. The meeting provided an opportunity to brief the Hon’ble Governor on ABILAC’s institutional initiatives aimed at the promotion of language, culture, and knowledge systems.
